Blue Cross Blue Shield : I am in network with the many of dozens of plans offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield
Aetna, Cigna & United Healthcare : I am out of network with their policies. Check to verify you might have out of network benefits.
GHI, Oscar, HealthFirst, 1199 insurance policies and all HMO policies : Do not offer acupuncture insurance coverage.
Deductibles and copays: for BCBS policies and out of network policies that have deductibles, those will need to be satisfied before your coverage kicks in. For policies with deductibles, the vast majority are between $300 to $700. You have the option of paying for a few acupuncture sessions that my office will submit to meet your deductible, thereafter all visits are billed and paid by your policy.
Co-pays when indicated for in network BCBS policies: average $20, some $40 to $50
